WHY
Since the success of our one big happy love-fest several weeks ago, many people have remarked that one night simply was just not enough time to visit and chat with everyone - and would it be possible for us all to get together again soon to finish the catching up?
HOW
Along with a few extra folk who have jumped on board with thoughts, advice, and suggestions, a bunch of people have decided to hold a
Port Mortem Reunion Catch Up and Get Together!
Of course it won't be as grandiose as the party we just had, one must save the luxurious events for the big years such as 10, 20, 30, 40, etc. BUT... there's nothing wrong with having a little summer BBQ now, is there?
WHAT
BYOBBFF (bring your own booze, blanket, food, and frisbee)!
WHERE
A very casual, low key Barbeque and Family Picnic. We're thinking of Rocky Point in Port Moody since there is some shelter there in the event that the weather turns, but we are open to suggestions.
WHO
Bring along your husbands, wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, life partners, fiancees, casual dates, best friends, children, dogs, cats, but most importantly your wee' ol' self!
WHEN
For all of you Out of Towners who are coming home next summer to visit the fam, please keep SATURDAY, JULY 9 in mind when making your holiday plans.
Hope this date works out for everyone. We figured that people tend to go away for long weekends and as August draws near, everyone starts to get busy with other summer fun, plans, and obligations.
